  • What is an ERN?

European Reference Networks (ERNs) are virtual networks involving healthcare providers across Europe. They aim to tackle complex or rare diseases and conditions that require highly specialised treatment and concentrated knowledge and resources.

  • I am affected with [insert condition] – how can the network help me?

ERNs are not directly accessible to individual patients. However, with the patients’ consent and in accordance with the rules of their national health system, the patient’s case can be referred to the relevant ERN member in their country by their healthcare provider. Click here for a list of Health Care Providers associated with the network, or email info@ernithaca.org

  • Can I participate in any of the research projects or clinical trials run by ERN-ITHACA?

We are currently involved in a number of research initiatives. Please see here for eligibility criteria

  • How can I contact you with my queries, feedback or ideas?
